It's not often one gets a suggested whisky accompaniment to a burger but this is a distillery café and a very smart one. The suggested dram is the Glenfiddich IPA, one I had been meaning to try anyway, so why not?
The burger itself is very nice but unmemorable except for the welcome change of a traditional toasted sesame bun. Good quality fries and a decent sized pot of good coleslaw make a tasty lunch. Whisky doesn't really add anything to a burger, best have an actual IPA even though the whisky was exquisite in its own right.
